What is a hydrosol?

A hydrosol (flower water) is the aromatic water that remains after steam distillation of plants. It contains water-soluble components and a small amount of essential oil – milder than pure essential oil but with therapeutic properties. The Damask rose (Rosa Damascena) is the most valued rose variety for cosmetics, known for its intense fragrance and rich active components.

How to use

As a daily toner (morning & evening): Cleanse face thoroughly. Spray the hydrosol onto the face or apply with a cotton pad. Gently pat onto face and neck. Let it absorb (do not rinse). Then apply serum and cream.

Refreshing spray throughout the day – make-up fixer (spray over make-up) – face mask booster (mix with clay) – eye compresses (soaked cotton pads, 10 min on closed eyes) – body spray after showering or sun exposure – hair spray for shine and fragrance
