Why jojoba is unique

Jojoba is technically not an oil but a liquid wax, pressed from the seeds of the jojoba shrub (Simmondsia Chinensis). Its molecular structure is very similar to human sebum, which allows the skin to recognize it as "its own" and absorb it directly. This makes jojoba suitable for every skin type – including oily and acne-prone skin.

Usage

Face (daily care): Cleanse face. Take 2–4 drops, warm between hands and gently press in with upward motions. Absorbs quickly. Use as a serum (under cream) or as a night treatment.

Make-up remover: Apply to a cotton pad and gently wipe over the face. Also removes waterproof make-up.

Body: Apply to damp skin after showering. Massage in with circular motions. Also suitable as a massage oil or for scars and stretch marks (apply twice daily).

Hair (hair mask): Massage into the scalp, leave for 5–10 minutes, and wash out. Or apply generously to dry hair, leave for 30–60 minutes, and wash out. Use once a week.

Leave-in: Apply 1–2 drops to damp hair ends. Do not rinse. Tames frizzy hair and protects against heat.

Tip for oily skin: Use as the only skincare product in the evening. Improvement after 2–4 weeks of regular use.
